An exploration of connection and cultural exchange, Caribbean Cross-Generations celebrates relationships among Black American musical traditions through the presence and influence of Caribbean instruments, expression, and dynamic artistry. The intergenerational outfit features master practitioner Andrew Cyrille as a “living connection” among these enduring traditions through new eras of creativity. For this two-night event, each artist shares an original composition united in their personal connections to the legacy of Caribbean music.
