These online COMPOSITION/IMPROVISATION classes aim to expand students' individual musical narrative, analyzing and studying in-depth how to extract and manipulate Cuban Haitian, Afro-Cuban, and Afro-Caribbean rhythmic cells and patterns from cinquillo cubano, contradanza, cha-cha-cha, mambo, mozambique, son montuno, rumba, etc, integrating them in students’ composing process of different musical configurations while using different harmonic and melodic systems and rhythmic permutations. 

OPEN to students of ALL INSTRUMENTS that want to enrich their individual musical narrative, nurturing their interest in musical literature from the Americas and the Caribbean, while transcending stylistic musical boundaries.
